Because deleted items sit in Recently Deleted for 30 days, iOS frees the space when that album empties. To reclaim space immediately: Photos → Albums → Recently Deleted → Select → Delete All.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → CleanSwipe, or tap "Manage subscription" inside the app's Settings. Canceling during the free trial prevents any charge.

Similarity detection is conservative but not perfect. Nothing is ever deleted automatically — you review and confirm every selection, so you can simply deselect anything it got wrong.
